‘Everything Everywhere All at Once’, ‘The White Lotus’, dan ‘Abbott Elementary’ menang besar di SAG Awards 2023.
Selain Academy Awards dan Golden Globe, Screen Actors Guild Awards atau yang lebih dikenal dengan SAG Awards telah menjadi salah satu acara penghargaan utama di industri film Hollywood sejak 1995. Penghargaan tersebut berfokus pada penampilan individu dan karya seluruh ansambel serial drama dan serial komedi, serta pemeran film.
Pada 27 Februari 2023, SAG Awards telah sukses menyelenggarakan upacara tahunan ke-29 yang digelar di Fairmont Century Plaza, Los Angeles. Malam penghargaan tahunan ini merupakan malam yang spesial karena tercatatnya sejarah baru.
Bintang utama acara ini merupakan film karya Daniel Kwan, Daniel Scheinert berjudul Everything Everywhere All at Once yang berhasil menang di setiap kategori. Film sains fiksi terlaris itu membuat sejarah pada upacara tahunan ke-29 SAG Awards dengan kemenangan untuk bintang Michelle Yeoh dan Ke Huy Quan, yang menjadi aktor keturunan Asia pertama yang menang dalam kategori yang mereka ikuti.
