Oppo A83 yang dijual secara eksklusif di JD.id ludes dalam waktu singkat. Oppo A83 dipasarkan melalui sistem pre-order sejak 26 Januari 2018 hingga 6 Februari 2018.
Selama masa pre-order (12 hari) tersebut telah disiapkan 500 unit Oppo F3, dan kini sudah habis terjual dengan masing-masing 250 unit warna hitam dan 250 unit warna emas.
Oppo A83 membawa sejumlah fitur yang dimiliki flasgship F5. Baik Oppo A83 dan F5 series, sama-sama ditenagai prosesor MediaTek Helio P23 dengan CPU octa-core Cortex-A53 2,5GHz, dan GPU Mali G-71 MP2.
Tidak hanya pada sisi processor, Oppo juga membenamkan A83 dengan fitur-fitur yang dijumpai di perangkat F5 series. Sebut saja fitur Game Acceleration dan pilihan mengganti sistem navigasi. Fitur ini memungkinkan pengguna menganti tombol sistem navigasi On Screen Button seperti biasa atau sistem gesture milik di iPhone X.
