Nominasi lengkap Academy Awards ke-94 telah diumumkan, pengumuman pemenang akan berlangsung pada 27 Maret mendatang.
Dibawakan oleh Leslie Jordan dan Tracee Ellis Ross, Academy Awards telah mengumumkan nominasi dalam 23 kategori, mulai dari Best Production Design, Best Visual Effects, Best Director, hingga Best Picture.
Dalam daftar tersebut, ‘The Power of the Dog’ karya Jane Campion mendapatkan jumlah nominasi terbanyak, sekitar 12 nominasi termasuk Best Picture dan Best Director untuk Jane Campion.
Sementara itu, film dengan nominasi terbanyak lainnya yaitu film ‘Dune’, yang berhasil meraih 10 nominasi dalam beberapa kategori Oscar. Ada pula ‘West Side Story’ dan ‘Belfast’ yang berhasil meraih tujuh nominasi, serta ‘King Richard’ berhasil meraih enam kategori.
Ketiganya juga akan memperebutkan penghargaan film terbaik dalam kategori yang mencakup total 10 film seperti; ‘Drive My Car,’ ‘Don’t Look Up,’ ‘CODA,’ ‘Licorice Pizza,’ hingga ‘Nightmare Alley’
